I think (OMG this is hard)Cher , she would have to wear a blonde wig though LOL , why because she's got a great body (just like me , is that more peels of laughter i hear) she's a go getter and determined sort of person just like me again

2. You are spending a whole month on a desert island for charity and you have to choose your favourite celebrity to spend the first two weeks with & your least favourite celebrity to spend the second two weeks with, who would they be & why?


Fave would be Steve Tyler (Aerosmith), well you need someone to snuggle up to on a night.
Least fave would have to be Heather Mills she is so scheming and opinionated i dislike women like this

3. What are your three favourite crafting products?

Rubber stamps , couldn't do anything without them.
Stickles , well the black ,so handy for adding a tasteful glitter to an altered project
Basic Grey , i just love and use soooooo much

4. If you could invent something to do anything what do you think it would be?

I dont know about do anything but i wouldn't mind an invention that could give me a couple more hours each day

More CJ entries

Another CJ entry that i have done for the stamp CJ. Can not remember who's it is , sorry. I'm getting a little confused as im in 2 stamp cj's with a lot of the same people.
Sunday today and already been up for 2 hours, Olivia woke at 5am , now her and Pete are in the garden putting my new vegetable boxes in and then this afternoon ican start planting. In the mean time i have a little High School Musical album to put together.

Easter Holidays

Last day of my Easter Holiday break today. We have had a week away in the caravan in the Wirral County Park.Lovely area but o so cold , caravan was fine as it has central heating , but the weather outside was very cold. Spent a day at Liverpool and did the Beatles story , Olivia realy enjoyed this.A day shopping in Chester and a visit to Tatton Park also.



Finally got round to making the holiday book from last October when Mum and Dad came with use to LEEK . So here are some pictures of the book I made for them to keep.I think for use I will make some scrapbook pages.

Quick Post

Just a quick post as im about to go away in the caravan for a few days. Just got back from a training course for BT , could have done without it but there you go, have to show willing.
Before i went i had time to make this lovely little dog , not my usual colours , even Pete mentioned that , but i do think it's rather cute.

Another CJ picture

This is another one of the Stamp CJ I am in on UkScrappers , the stamp to use this time was the wings.Not realy sure if I like it or not. I've used some of the Tim Holtz Crackle Paint on it as I love this stuff , so easy to use.
Had a realy nice Easter break. Met up with some of the Scrappad gilrs on friday for pizza. It was the first time of meeting Liz so that was realy good , hope she had a good stay up here and that it wont be another 10 years until she visits again. Took some photo's so will have to get them on here at some point this week.

A few

A few cards I have been making.Not my normal colours for cards but thought I would use up some Basic Grey Scarlet Letter 6x6 I had left.I seem to have no inspiration for cards at the moment , yet I realy need to be making some as I am very low. A friend has asked me to do a baby boy card for her and I dont know where to start. Lets hope I find some inspiration over the Easter Holidays.
Off scrapping tonight , not feeling 100% as I woke up at 5am with another one of the terrible migrains again and now I feel sick and a little fed up from it. No worries I will be back to full working order tomorrow.

She's Finished

Well there she is all finished. Im realy pleased with her , since it's only the second thing ive ever sewn i dont think ive doen to badly (even if i say so myself)
She now has pride of place in the bay window down stairs. Im now on the look out for some other project to sew, but ive lots to keep me going whilst i find it.

Calendar

Yesterday I spent the day round Gail's designing a calendar for the ladies on a Monday's glue and stick day. It seemed a bit to easy , just hope they think so when we come to do it. I used last months Jenni Bowlin kit , I love these kits always so good to use on a project as everything always matches and goes together so well. It's not my normal grungy style but im very pleased with it.I think I will make soem more of these for xmas presents. This one has not dates in the months as im not sure if im going to use it this year or next.

Stamp CJ's

Im now up to date with the 2 Cj's im doing.Next one is due to be posted on the 20th , so a couple of days off and then i will do that one. At least i know what i want to do with it and i think that's half the battle sometimes.

Swaps

Been busy doing things for swaps and remembered to take some photo's this time.
So first is the little tin I made for an altered tin swap im in on UkStampers. It looks rather cute and i would have liked to keep it , but off it's gone to a new home.


The other was an altered coaster swap and it was to be made into a caddy sort of effect.I covered 5 coasters and then cut the middles out of 2 and put in some asetate images.Looks better in real life , but then dont most things LOL.

Busy

Just for a change LOL im busy doing lots of CJ's and other odd n ends and thought i would remember to take photo's and upload on to here.
The book and purse have been made as a thank you to a friend , her name is Babs if you hadn't guessed. I made it buy first cutting the letters out on the cricut and then cuting round them on the chipboard .Used the Bind It All to fasten all together and covered with Daisy D papers.



The Purse kit is a 7 gypsies kit and i used the same papers. Hope she likes it , im pleased with how it's turned out.

How's she doing

Im sure you are all wanting an update on how my doll is coming along , so here is the lastest picture . Im realy pleased with how she is looking and can not wait to have her finished . I think prabably two more sessions and she will be sitting pretty on my lounge bay window.
Then all i need to do is come up with another project , which with so many ideas in my head all the time , wont take long.
Just putting the finishing touches to the next Alter That kit and also trying to get upto date with the cj's im in at the moment, I promise to take photo's of them and get them on here for all to see.

Altered Bunny Swap

So this is what the cute version and pattern i bought look like.

And this is my version for an Altered Bunny Swap im hosting on UkScrappers , im sure it not quite what the designers of the original ever had in mind .

The doll is coming on fine and i shall upload pictures of her tomorrow for you all to see.
Off to Belfast on Thursday , which is Olivia's 8th Birthday , her and Pete are coming with me , so that's nice and we get a few days together there to do lots of sight seeing.
This week end was rather busy , with family and friends round Saturday afternoon/night celebrating Olivia's birthday. Then Sunday found use at Northallerton swimming baths with 20 other kids for her other Birthday party with her little friends. I think everyone had a great time , i know i did , i just love the wave machine they have there , didn't get to go down th ebig slide , toooooo busy with kids going up and down it .Olivia realy enjoyed herself.

She's got legs

Well she has now , ive finished sewing them on tonight ready for making her arms tomorrow. Gail keeps trying to upset me by telling me the hands are going to be so hard and fiddlie and that's what were doing tomorrow, great i cant wait !!!!!!

Other news..... well last assignment was emailed last week and today Babs emailed me to say ive finsihed ,so im now fully qualified to teach adults ........yippee thought it was all over but there's talk about us doing a Cert Ed... like i say thought it was all over but thinking about it i will prabably do it , need a couple of months off to just teach rather than teach and write about it.
Another bit of news is that ive started tap dancing , yes your read that right tap dancing.Sharon , Gail and I went and we loved it , well Sharon and I did , Gails still trying to get her breath back so she can deside if she did or not. Anyway i will be there this week.

Now Stuffed

Homework set by Gail is now done the body is sewn up and she is stuffed , here are the photo's to prove it.
Tomorrow im back round Gails and were doing a bit more.
Had a busy weekend , went to the Middlesbrough crop Saturday then up to the Metro Centre and bought Oliviaa new bed , which gets delivered in 3 weeks. We could not find a wardrobe so Peter is going to build her a walk in one at one side of the room. That's going to keep him ebusy for teh next couplel of weeks.

So what am i up to well ive started to make my Jan Horrox doll with help from Gail as im not good with these sewing instructions lark.
Ive put a picture up of what it should look like when it's finished and then i will put pictures of work in progress as i make the bits up.

The Pinny

Hope everyone had a lovely xmas and are now looking forward to New Year.Well finally I used the sewing machine and with a little help from Gail made this pinny.I then promised to show it to everyone and said that I would wear it and nothing else .So here you are.

Shrines

The next kit out will be the January 2008 kit due for postage around the 1st Jan.

The theme of this kit is SHRINES and as usual there is a project (see picture for project) with full written instructions and colour pictures , everytjhing you need to make the project is in the kit plus lots more.

The project can easily be turned into a lovely xmas decoration. Here are the pictures.

Getting closer

Christmas that is , times just flying and i have sooooooooooo much to do .Over a month since i have blogged , i think i feel a new years resolution coming on ..........
Off to Durham tonight to grab a pizza with Debbie , Gail , Andrea and Claire(ginger).Claire's in teh area for an interview so what more excuse do you need to get together.
Been busy making stuff , advent calendar and cards , will have to post some piccy's for all to see.
Next kit is due out so that also needs sorting and then i can just sit back and enjoy xmas , sounds easy doesn't it LOL

Chrismas ............. well not quite

But ive started getting stuff done. I'm in a christmas card swap , christmas inchies swap , christmas ATC swap , advent swap and stocking swap feeeeeeeeew that's all i think .So i have the 10 cards made , tonight im going to do the inchies and i have the ATC's nearly finished also.But i want to do lots more for the advent and stocking swap and then some odd n ends for myself .
Last year i made a christmas banner for the arch in the living room using Basic Grey chrismas papers and this year i have made a chrismas tree hanger to match. Here the pictures of it.
